In the International Nazrul Poetry Festival 2023 organized by the Jatiya Kobita Manch, on the occasion of the 124th birth anniversary of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, the International Poets Gathering and Book Award Ceremony 2023 yesterday, May 25, 2023. Held every Thursday from 09.00 am to 09.00 pm at International Mother Language Institute, Segunbagicha, Dhaka. The day-long program begins with a procession, wreath laying at the shrine of poet Nazrul, discussion of local and foreign poets, recitation of poetry, speeches and music. The programme was lively throughout the day with the presence and participation of about seven hundred poets. In the evening, the best book award was officially announced. Poet, researcher, organizer, author of many books, many linguists, columnist, essayist, storyteller, rhymer, Mahmudul Hasan Nizami Brother announced that he has been selected from about twelve hundred books and nominated for one hundred awards. He said that the award will be divided into 3 grades. Award divided into A, B and C grades. Best Book Award 2023 in Grade A was awarded to my monologue “Journey to Dreams”. The Best Book Awards 2023, medals and certificates were formally handed over on the occasion. National and foreign elite poets and writers were all present in the event.
